My name is Timari (rhymes with shimmery) Caldwell. I began my journey as a silversmith in 2018 when I bought an acetylene torch off of craigslist from a Wizard, wandered into my local silver supply shop, bought all the tools I could think of, and started learning by trial and error in my shed.

Growing up in New Mexico has certainly encouraged my love of silversmithing, as there are so many talented Native American jewelers in the area. I wouldn’t be the creator I am today without the inspiration and guidance from my Indigenous neighbors.

In a world of quickly developing technology and AI, I believe that art is what keeps us grounded and what keeps us human. I want to create art that helps people feel connected to themselves, to the earth, and to their innate magic. I think it goes without saying, but I loathe AI and will not use it in my business as long as I can help it.

When I am not creating jewelry, I am usually spending time with my wonderful husband and our absolute angel of a pup, Sif. I am a fantasy nerd and enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPG’s. On my downtime, you can find me with my nose in a book or playing a video game. Half of my time goes to my other love, teaching ballet and contemporary dance.
